War of Roses
This recipe is a crowd-pleaser at any time of year, but it is especially fun during the warmer months when topped with a lemon rose garnish. To make a rose garnish simply make a long peel of lemon with a potato peeler – the longer the better- and then tightly roll it up and spear it with a cocktail stick.
- 2 dashes rose water
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
- 0.5 Oz simple syrup (2:1)
- 1.5 Oz strawberry purée
- 1.5 Oz Upstate Vodka
Shake 10 seconds & double strain into Collins glass with ice, top with soda and stir 2x with barspoon.
Garnish: Lemon rose for the inspired or expressed lemon twist.
